Experience clear and comfortable vision – No matter what your day demands!

What is eye misalignment?

Our eyes evolved to see well peripherally resulting in a slightly outward placement of the eyes in their natural resting position. This is great for hunting and avoiding being hunted – NOT so great for working on screens all day!

However, modern demand for close up work and navigating between a variety of focal ranges causes the eyes and brain to work very hard to do this for extended periods of time. All of this demand on the visual system has been shown to cause and/or contribute to symptoms such as headaches, neck + shoulder pain/stiffness, eye pain and fatigue, dizziness, motion sickness, light sensitivity, and even dry eye sensations!

Neurolenses are one-of-a-kind lenses that bend light to where your eyes want to rest – reducing the burden and strain on your eyes and offering BIG relief!

At Coal Creek Family Vision, we offer Neurolens, the first prescription lens that realigns the eyes and relieves pressure along the inner retina. As a treatment for digital eye strain, eye misalignment, and dry eyes, these lenses work to correct these problems and offer instant eye pain relief. Through these one-of-a-kind prescription lenses, we can help you regain your vision and correct it where it’s needed most.

An overview of neurolens

How Does Neurolens Work?

Your eyes work to take in visual images independently, and when aligned, our brains can place those two images together and seamlessly produce vision. Eye misalignments strain the trigeminal nerve, the nerve responsible for sending pain and touch sensations to the face and neck. This can lead to neck pain, eye fatigue, dry eye sensations, and motion sickness.

Neurolens works to correct signs of eye misalignments through its contoured prism design. Traditional lenses work to correct refractive needs – aka your prescription – caused by myopia and hyperopia but traditional lenses can’t address problems such as eye misalignments. The contoured prism design allows for adjustments to be made gradually across all view distances instead of standard prism designs found in most glasses today. Its contoured prism design can relieve pressure along the trigeminal nerve and synchronize your vision to reduce your symptoms.

What Conditions Can Neurolens
Help Address?

At Coal Creek Family Vision, we’re happy to offer Neurolens as a convenient, high-quality solution for your vision needs.

Through Neurolens’ proprietary contoured prism design, you can enjoy the flexibility of wearing your favorite frames without experiencing any uncomfortable symptoms often associated with uncorrected eye misalignments.

Did you know that Neurolens can also relieve various eye conditions, including:

  • Digital Eye Strain: Unlike eye misalignments, digital eye strain causes the eyes to feel strained and uncomfortable after using digital devices for long periods – such as your computer and cellphone. Digital eye strain can be caused by device usage but symptoms are amplified by eye misalignments.
  • Eye Muscle Problems: Eye muscle disorders such as strabismus, esotropia, and hypertropia can cause issues with eye muscle movements, leading to vision problems. Neurolens can help reduce the impact of these disorders and help alleviate vision issues.
  • Binocular Vision Dysfunction: Eye misalignment and double vision can create long-term issues with the way our brains process information, and Neurolens has been shown to help reduce its symptoms.
  • Nerve-Related Problems: Dysfunction of the trigeminal nerve, or conditions related to trigeminal dysphoria, can cause notable issues with vision and eye function. Neurolens can relieve those symptoms and provide better vision, reducing your symptoms.

Nuerolens

When both of your eyes work in alignment, they resolve information from each eye to see one clear image.  If there is a misalignment in your vision, it can cause headaches, eye strain, neck and shoulder pain, dry eye, dizziness, and light sensitivity.

Neurolenses correct these misalignments through a proprietary contoured prism design which brings the images for each individual eye into one easy to process image restoring clear comfortable vision.

Many of our patients have found relief from these distressing symptoms through the Neurolens proprietary contour prism designs being worn over their contact lenses.

About 24% of all Neurolens orders are actually made without a prescription to help patients find relief from symptoms through their proprietary contour prism designs.

Neurolens has been helping patients find relief for over a decade through their proprietary contoured prism lens design.  Due to this specialty lens technology, insurance companies do not consider it a “standard of care”.

For this reason, insurance companies are not set up to process claims that are associated with these special lenses.

Neurolens CAN be paid for with your (HSA) Health Savings Account  and (FSA) Flex Spending Accounts.

Coal Creek Family Vision accepts Care Credit giving you up to 12 months no interest when monthly payments are completed on time.

Like any prescription, results aren’t immediate and you may have minor, unfamiliar sensations before the effectiveness and visual comfort set in.
